Financials & Accounting

A full double-entry general ledger (Tally-style) with enforced balancing. Every sub-ledger transaction — invoices, payroll, expenses — posts here automatically, so the books stay live and always tie.

Modules & functions

ModuleWhat it does
Ledger groups & LedgersChart of accounts as a tree (Assets, Liabilities, Income, Expense); each ledger carries a running balance.
Vouchers & Voucher entriesDouble-entry journals (Payment, Receipt, Journal, Contra). Each line is a debit or credit; posts only when debit equals credit.
Finance entriesThe consolidated posting stream that every module writes into.
Invoices & Invoice itemsCustomer billing. On Sent it emails the customer and posts Dr Debtors / Cr Sales / Cr GST.
Payments & Bank transactionsRecord receipts and payments; import and reconcile bank statement lines.
Recurring invoicesAuto-generate invoices on a schedule.
BudgetsBudget-vs-actual by ledger and period.
Cost centres & BranchesTag postings by cost centre and branch for segmented reporting.
Fixed assetsAsset register with depreciation schedules.
Revenue schedulesDeferred revenue recognised over time (Dr Deferred Revenue / Cr Sales).
ConsolidationMulti-entity roll-up across organisations.
Period closeA checklist to lock an accounting period.
Credit limitsFlags customers who exceed their credit limit.
SubscriptionsRecurring billing with MRR and ARR tracking.

How to

Post a journal voucher

  1. Open Vouchers and choose New, then a type (Payment / Receipt / Journal / Contra) — a number is assigned and it is Draft.
  2. Add voucher entries: one ledger line per debit or credit.
  3. When debit equals credit, set it to Posted.

Enter opening balances

  1. Create the ledgers you are opening.
  2. Post a Journal voucher dated the first day of the period.
  3. Debit the assets and credit the liabilities and equity so the entry balances.

Reconcile a bank statement

  1. Import or add Bank transactions for the account.
  2. Match each line to a payment or receipt.
  3. Post any unrecorded charges as vouchers so the ledger balance ties to the bank.

Read your books

  1. Open Accounting (Tally) and pick a report tab (Trial Balance, Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, Day Book).
  2. Set the From and To dates and click Apply.
  3. Trial Balance and Balance Sheet show as-on the To date; P&L and Day Book show the period.

Key rules & tips

  • A voucher posts only when total debit equals total credit and is greater than zero.
  • Invoices (Sent), payslips (Paid) and expense claims (Approved) post to the ledger automatically — manual vouchers are only for journals, opening balances and contras.
  • If the Trial Balance does not tie, look for a posted voucher later edited out of balance (the system auto-returns such vouchers to Draft).
  • Trial Balance and Balance Sheet are as-on the To date; Profit & Loss and Day Book cover the period range.
T

India Tax & Compliance

GST and TDS compliance built in for Indian businesses — e-invoicing, e-way bills, and statutory returns, all wired to the same documents you already raise.

Modules & functions

ModuleWhat it does
E-invoicesGenerate a GST e-invoice with IRN and QR code from any sales invoice.
E-way billsCreate e-way bills for the movement of goods.
GST reportsGSTR summaries and return-ready figures.
Tax declarationsEmployee tax declarations that drive TDS.
Compliance itemsTrack statutory tasks and deadlines.

How to

Generate an e-invoice

  1. Open the sales invoice and set it to Sent.
  2. Trigger e-invoice — the IRN and QR are returned and stored on the invoice.
  3. Print or share; the QR is embedded for the buyer to verify.

Raise an e-way bill

  1. Open the invoice or delivery note for the consignment.
  2. Create the e-way bill with transport and vehicle details.
  3. Carry the generated number with the goods.

Deduct and file TDS

  1. Employees file Tax declarations that set their regime and exemptions.
  2. TDS auto-deducts inside each payslip when payroll runs.
  3. Pull 24Q and 26Q figures from GST reports and tax reports for filing.

Key rules & tips

  • GST and email triggers fire once, on the status change — fill the customer email so the e-invoice actually reaches them.
  • An e-way bill is required above the state threshold for the movement of goods.
  • TDS deducts inside the payslip automatically; a valid tax declaration reduces the deduction.
P

Procure-to-Pay

The full purchasing loop from a request to a matched, posted vendor bill, with a read-only vendor self-service portal.

Modules & functions

ModuleWhat it does
VendorsSupplier master with contact, tax and payment terms.
Purchase requisitionsInternal requests that start the buying process.
RFQsRequest quotes from vendors and compare.
Purchase ordersApproved orders sent to the vendor.
Goods receiptsRecord what physically arrived (GRN).
Vendor billsSupplier invoices, matched before payment.
Debit notesReturns and adjustments to the vendor.

How to

Run a 3-way match

  1. Raise a Purchase order for the vendor and items.
  2. Record a Goods receipt when stock arrives.
  3. Enter the Vendor bill — the system matches PO, GRN and bill before it posts to the ledger.

Requisition to PO

  1. A team member raises a Purchase requisition.
  2. Turn it into an RFQ to compare vendor quotes.
  3. Approve the best quote into a Purchase order.

Handle a short shipment

  1. Record the Goods receipt for the quantity that actually arrived.
  2. Raise a Debit note to the vendor for the shortfall or return.
  3. Match the reduced Vendor bill.

Key rules & tips

  • The 3-way match blocks payment until the PO, GRN and bill agree — fix the mismatch, do not override it.
  • Debit notes handle returns and short-shipments back to the vendor.
  • Share the vendor portal link from the Procure-to-Pay cockpit; vendors then see only their own POs and bills, read-only.
S

Order-to-Cash & CRM

From a lead to invoiced cash: CRM pipeline, CPQ quoting, orders, commissions, and a customer self-service portal with online payment.

Modules & functions

ModuleWhat it does
Leads, Accounts, ContactsThe CRM master data — capture, qualify and convert.
Activities & CRM pipelineLog calls, meetings and tasks; drive deals across stages.
Quotations & Price listsCPQ quoting; discounts over 15% route for approval.

Sales returnsRMA and credit handling.
Sales commissionsCommission calculation on closed sales.
CampaignsAttribute leads to marketing sources.

How to

Build a CPQ quote

  1. Open Quotations and choose New for the account.
  2. Add items — prices pull from the price list; a discount over 15% is flagged for approval.
  3. Send the quote once approved; the customer accepts.

Convert quote to cash

  1. From the accepted quote, auto-convert to a Sales order.
  2. Convert the order to an Invoice; set Sent to email and post it.
  3. Share the customer portal link so they can view and pay online via Razorpay.

Set up a price list

  1. Open Price lists and create one for the segment or currency.
  2. Add items with their prices.
  3. Attach it so quotes for those customers price automatically.

Handle a return (RMA)

  1. Open Sales returns and create one against the original order.
  2. Record the items coming back.
  3. Issue the credit; stock and the ledger adjust.

Key rules & tips

  • A discount over 15% routes for approval before the quote can be sent.
  • Always set a next action on a lead — empty next steps are how leads go cold.
  • The weighted forecast is value multiplied by probability — keep both honest.

Inventory & Warehousing

Stock accuracy from bin to balance sheet: bins, picks, cycle counts, batch/serial tracking and MRP.

Modules & functions

ModuleWhat it does
Inventory itemsItem master with quantity, reorder level and valuation.
Warehouses & Warehouse binsLocation hierarchy down to the bin.
Stock picks & Delivery notesPick, pack and ship against orders.

Stock movementsInward and outward postings; reversible, not editable once posted.

How to

Move stock correctly

  1. Add Inventory items with quantity and reorder level.
  2. Record inward or outward with Stock movements.
  3. To fix a mistake, post a reversal — posted movements cannot be edited.

Plan with MRP

  1. Open Inventory Planning and run MRP — it explodes the BOM and finds shortfalls.
  2. Review make-vs-buy on each shortfall.
  3. Create orders: draft POs for buy items, manufacturing orders for make items.

Do a cycle count

  1. Open Cycle counts and start a count for a bin or ABC class.
  2. Enter the counted quantities.
  3. Post the adjustment — the variance corrects on-hand stock.

Key rules & tips

  • Posted stock movements cannot be edited — post a reversal to correct a mistake.
  • The dashboard flags low-stock items and pending purchase orders.
  • MRP is a single-level BOM explosion; run it, then create the orders from the shortfalls.
M

Manufacturing & PLM

Make-to-order production with routings, subcontracting, costing variance and engineering change control.

Modules & functions

Key rules & tips

  • Timesheet amount equals hours multiplied by the employee hourly cost — set the hourly cost on the employee record.
  • Profitability is billing minus labour and expense, measured against the budget.
  • Use the planning board to drag project cards across Backlog to Done.
S

How to

Resolve a ticket within SLA

  1. Log a ticket with a priority — the SLA timer starts.
  2. Attach a KB solution where it fits.
  3. Move the status through to resolved before the timer breaches; capture CSAT.

Dispatch a field technician

  1. Create a Service job for the site.
  2. Assign a Technician and schedule the visit.
  3. Close the job once the work is complete.

Auto-generate maintenance

  1. Set up a Maintenance plan on an asset.
  2. On the due date the plan generates a service work order.
  3. Dispatch a technician to complete it.

Key rules & tips

  • The SLA timer runs against ticket age — resolve before it breaches; escalation fires on breach.
  • Preventive maintenance plans auto-create work orders on the due date.
  • A service contract sets what coverage and entitlements a customer has.

P

Platform, Automation & Extensibility

Make the ERP yours and automate the busywork: custom fields, API and webhooks, approvals, e-signature and self-service portals.

Modules & functions

ModuleWhat it does
Custom fields & valuesLow-code fields added to any module without touching the core form.
Workflows, Approval chains & Field rulesAutomation: approvals, rules and multi-step workflows.
Webhooks & ConnectorsPublic REST API with keys, outbound webhooks (with retry) and connectors.
E-sign requestsIn-app e-signature with a captured signature, signer and audit trail.
Portal linksOpaque, account-scoped customer and vendor self-service portals.
Letters & DocumentsMail-merge letters and a document store.

How to

Add a custom field

  1. Open a record and the Custom tab.
  2. Define the field; it is stored separately from the core form.
  3. It now captures on every record of that module.

Publish an API key and webhook

  1. Open Platform and create an API key for the integration.
  2. Register a webhook URL for the events you want.
  3. Failed webhooks retry automatically.

Send a document to e-sign

  1. Open the Platform cockpit and choose send-for-e-signature.
  2. Share the opaque link with the signer.
  3. They type their signature; the request is marked Signed with signer, date and IP.

Key rules & tips

  • Custom fields are additive — they never change the core create form.
  • Portal links are opaque and account-scoped; nothing is exposed until you generate one.
  • Razorpay invoice payments are owner-gated — the owner sets the key secret to activate them.
A

Administration & Security

Control access and keep the data safe: role-based permissions, audit trail, soft-delete recovery, calendar and backups.

Modules & functions

ModuleWhat it does
Users & Roles (RBAC)Seven roles gated by plan; owner and admin get full access, members a working set.
Audit logsAn append-only trail of who changed what.
ApprovalsA central approvals inbox.
Soft-delete recycle binDeleted records are recoverable, not gone.
CalendarEvents with recurrence, invites and ICS export.
Backups & TenantsPer-tenant, schema-isolated data with automated backups and DR.

How to

Invite a user and set access

  1. Open Admin and Users, then invite by email.
  2. Set the role — modules gate by role and by plan.
  3. Grant the specific apps and modules they should reach.

Restore a deleted record

  1. Open the recycle bin.
  2. Find the soft-deleted record.
  3. Restore it — nothing is truly gone until the bin is purged.

Key rules & tips

  • Roles gate modules; role intersected with plan decides what a user actually sees.
  • Nothing is truly deleted until the recycle bin is purged — restore from there.
  • Every organisation is schema-isolated; data never crosses tenants.
