Move to FiniteSkills without losing a single email
Switching email providers feels risky — so we made the path boring and predictable. Most organizations complete the move in a day, and our team assists at no charge.
The migration path
- Start a free trial. Create your organization at accounts.finiteskills.com — your current email keeps working untouched while you evaluate.
- Add your team. Create users in Finite Accounts. Each user gets Mail, Drive, Chat and Meet access according to your plan.
- Prepare your domain. We give you the exact DNS records to add: MX for delivery, SPF, DKIM and DMARC for authentication. You add them at your domain registrar; nothing changes until the MX record switches.
- Copy existing mail. Old mail is imported over IMAP from Gmail, Google Workspace, Zoho, Microsoft 365 or any standard provider — folders and read states included. We run this step with you on request.
- Switch delivery. Update the MX record. New mail starts arriving in FiniteMail; the old provider keeps your history as a fallback until you are confident.
- Move files and go. Upload shared files to FiniteDrive, set up channels in FiniteChat, and you are done.
What about downtime?
Done in this order, there is none. Mail systems retry delivery automatically during DNS propagation, and because the old mailbox stays readable, nothing is lost even if a message lands in the old inbox during the switch.
