Privacy Policy

1. What we collect

• Account information: organization name, owner name, email address, phone number, and billing details you provide at registration or checkout.
• User and workspace data: email messages, files, chat messages, meeting recordings, and other content your organization stores in the suite. We process this data solely to operate the service.
• Usage information: log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps) and feature-usage telemetry to operate and improve the service.
• Payment information: payments are handled by our payment gateway. We receive a transaction reference and partial card details for billing records only. We do not store full card numbers.
• Support communications: emails, chat messages, and helpdesk tickets you send to our support team.

2. How we use your information

• Provision, operate, and improve the FiniteSkills SaaS Suite.
• Process payments, issue invoices, and manage subscriptions.
• Send transactional messages (account activation, subscription receipts, security alerts). We do not send marketing email without consent.
• Respond to support requests and investigate abuse reports.
• Comply with applicable Indian law and respond to lawful requests from public authorities.

3. Data ownership and access

Your organization owns all content it stores in the suite (mail, files, messages). FiniteSkills acts as a data processor for that content. You can export your data at any time from the Accounts dashboard, and we will delete it within 30 days of account closure upon request.

4. Tenant isolation

Each organization’s data is stored in an isolated schema or row-level partition. No other organization can access your data. Administrators of one organization cannot see data belonging to another.

5. Sharing with third parties

• Service providers: hosting, payment processing, and email delivery providers that process data on our behalf under confidentiality obligations.
• Legal requirements: we disclose data when required by Indian law or a valid court order, and we will notify you unless legally prohibited from doing so.
• We do not sell, rent, or trade your data to any third party for marketing purposes.

6. Data retention

• Active-subscription data is retained for the duration of your subscription.
• After cancellation, data is kept in a read-only grace period for 30 days, then permanently deleted.
• Billing records and transaction logs are retained for 7 years as required by Indian accounting law.
• Support communications are retained for 3 years.

7. Security

We use TLS for all data in transit, AES-256 encryption for backups, hardened servers, and role-based access controls. See the Security & Trust Center for details.

8. Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies (session management, CSRF protection) and optional analytics cookies. See the Cookie Policy for a full list and opt-out instructions.

9. Your rights

• Request a copy of personal data we hold about you.
• Correct inaccurate information in your account.
• Delete your personal data (subject to legal retention obligations).
• Withdraw consent for optional marketing communications.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the service after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
