Overview

FiniteMail is a full IMAP webmail client for business email that runs on your own Postfix servers — with threading, filters, an address book and team broadcasts, plus native desktop and mobile apps.

Features

Your own servers

IMAP webmail sending through your Postfix — no third-party relay.

Reply, reply-all & forward

Forwards carry the original attachments; threading keeps replies together.

Search operators

from:, subject:, is:unread, has:attachment and more.

Server-side filters

Auto-label, star, archive or move incoming mail by rule.

Address book

Contacts autocomplete in the To field everywhere.

Broadcast & vault

Announce to all staff or a segment; encrypted document vault.

Getting started

Open mail.finiteskills.com and sign in. Set your signature and display name once in Settings — they are added to every new message.

Compose, reply & forward

Compose with a rich editor (attachments, tables, images, emoji). Open any message to Reply, Reply all or Forward — forwards carry the original attachments. Mail leaves through your own server.

Organize & find mail

Sort with folders and labels, star what matters, and use conversation threading. Search supports operators like from:, subject:, is:unread and has:attachment. Swipe to archive or delete on mobile.

Filters & address book

Create server-side filters (Settings → Filters) to auto-label, star, archive or move incoming mail. Build an address book once and it autocompletes in the To field everywhere.

Broadcast & security

Broadcast an announcement to all employees or a segment. Sensitive files can go into the encrypted document vault. Turn on MFA in FiniteAccounts to protect the mailbox.

Tutorials

1Set up your signature and send mail

  1. Go to Settings and add your signature and display name.
  2. Click Compose; the signature is added automatically.
  3. Add recipients (they autocomplete from your address book), a subject and body.
  4. Attach files if needed and Send — mail leaves via your own server.

2Create a filter to auto-organize mail

  1. Open Settings → Filters → New.
  2. Add a condition, e.g. from contains billing@.
  3. Choose an action: label, star, archive or move.
  4. Save — the rule runs on new mail (use Run now to apply to the inbox).
